Jerusalem, Old Town Below is a sketch of our itinerary for our trip to Israel, January 2 – 17, 2019. The blog will provide a lot of details and pictures for each of these days. Jan 2 (Wed): Departure We will leave Birmingham early in the morning for our drive to Harts fi eld-Jackson airport (ATL) in Atlanta where we check in for our flight 1:35 pm flight to Israel, via Philadelphia and Charles de Gaulle. Jan 3 (Thu): Arrival We are scheduled to arrive in Israel at 4:30 pm. After our meet up at Ben Gurion airport (TLV) , we drive one hour to Jerusalem , the most important city in the world.
